I AM SO FREAKING IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK!

This is my first book from the author and I'm already checking her other work.

I haven't read a sports romance like this one in a while. Challenge is a fun and romantic story. I am completely in love with it.

Camden and Indie's story is truly beautiful. It really is a challenge, it's a long path and a lot gets in the way, but they manage to come out victorious.

The woman standing before me now is completely out of my league. A long game plan with a bird never looked so good to Camden Harris.”❤

The author wrote a book about two SUPER complicated characters, one more than the other of course, and it's amazing how it turned out. She took a sport, built a story based on it and the result is just awesome. This story shows how your life can change in a matter of seconds, either for right or wrong, and it also shows how maybe, somethings, are meant to happen. Or that they are a step toward a part of your future, towards better things or toward the one thing you never you knew you needed, or simply, a situation that starts the lead to the things you thought you didn't want.

And that's why it is a challenge. First, the characters need to accept what they are going through; second, they need to learn how to deal with it; and third, they have to appreciate the situation. Embrace the unknown. Cherish their new life conditions and the people, the things or the setups that are making changes on it.

Camden is the sweetest and funniest guy out there. We all need a Cam in our lives. He is everything you should ask for, after all, he is not "Step 1" (p*e*n*i*s #1 ) but "Step 3". I feel my heart beating for him. He finds himself wrapped into an unwanted situation. But he never knew what would that situation bring, neither did he thought that it would be something good.
In one of his soccers games, he got an injury, he was rushed to the hospital and met his future. WOW RIGHT? That sounds like a lot. Anyway, Cam finds himself questioning his abilities and his future abilities, if his future looks good, or if it's looking a bit cloudy and rainy. So he finds himself a distraction, or better, being in the ICU, gets him one. A spitfire redhead named Dr. Porter. Indie for the friends, and for Dr. Loser too, sadly.

Well then, Camden is interested by her, and it's not only one way, Indie is interested in him too. At first, for whole different reasons, but at the end, their reasoning became the same. Indie sees him, a whole different level of "seeing" someone. And I think that Cam has never experienced that and that's one of the reasons he is intrigued.

Indie is intrigued too, it's like their made for each other. They just don't want to accept it. They have issues an troubles and problemas, and everything can fall apart for the two of them. They are passionate and fierce.

The story is about Camden and Indie learning about themselves and about each other. The discover the unknown. They start feeling things they never thought they could, and when things got heavy, they both were scared; again, one more than the other.

Indie is a girl, a genius girl, who doesn't know how to handle relationships or even her own feelings, much less the other's feelings for her. She gets herself in a process of self discovery, which involves opening up about everything that has hurt her, one way or another, in the past. She needs to learn how to let people in, how to let someone know she is capable of feeling, and to learn to embrace and cherish those feelings. And Cam is willing to help her.

On the other hand, Belle and The Harris family are EVERYTHING. I LOOOOOOVE THEM. They are such great characters, each of them has their story and they are the most close people to Indie and Cam. Bella is her best friend. The only person that Indie has somehow let in. And The Harris family; Cam's twin, Tanner; the baby brother Booker and the big brother Gareth, Vi, the princess of the family, and Hayden, Vi's love; and let's not forget about Cam's father. They all are so good and so close to each other. They love each other in a strong way; they are caring and protective, and soccer lovers. And they are what they need to be for Cam, when he needs them to. But also, for Indie. Vi offered her a cup. Will she offer me one?

❤“I love you a latte, Indie.”❤

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, GO BUY THIS BOOK. I LOVE IT. It's fun, romantic, has a bit of drama, and shows love's true form. I laughed, I cried, I pulled my hair, I wanted to throw my phone away, but boy was it worth it!

Camden Harris, professional football player and amateur ladies man got thrown into an existential crisis when he tore his ACL. Typically a season ending injury, and possibly a career ending one, he wonders for the first time what his life could be apart from football.

People use phrases like "football is my life' all the time, but rarely mean them in the way they apply to Camden. Not only is it his career, but his three brothers play professionally, his dad is a manager, and with friends and social activities, there's literally nothing meaningful in Camden's life that isn't associated with football. Yet with one snap of a tendon it could be all gone.

In an effort to divert his mind both from the pain of the injury, and the questions it raises in his mind, he focuses his attention on the cute little red headed surgical intern assigned to him at the hospital, and thus begins a rather unconventional relationship.

Indie, the doctor in question is as unlikely a character as you could ever hope to meet. Intellectually gifted, yet socially ostracized not only by her peers, but even by her family, she's managed to make one good friend, Belle, and together, they've formulated a plan for Indie to take life by the 'horns' and finally start living rather than just existing on the outskirts of other people's lives.

A tale of secret rendezvous and stolen moments, where an arrangement in which both knew and were clear about what they wanted morphs into something neither could have predicted.the overall tone of this dual POV romp is light, and the humor, particularly where the Harris brothers are concerned is easy and free flowing yet there were more than a few moments that tugged at the old heartstrings and brought liquid to the cheeks.

Amy Daws has definitely found herself a new fan.
My goal was to finish Challenge. I hit buy, cued it up and then went travelling. OMG...It has been a very long time since a book took me four days to read. Honestly, it wasn't my fault. I went to the Fictionally Yours, Melbourne book signing AND Hubby joined me to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. So, unfortunately, reading wasn't my priority.

Of all the books to choose, I should have picked a re-read or something. There is NOTHING worse than putting down a book that you're enjoying. Hanging out with fellow bloggers, readers and authors...OR...reading a book that will wait for me? Spending quality time with Hubby...OR...reading a book that will wait for me? You guessed it...the book waited.

I got there in the end and really enjoyed it. The characters were engaging, the storyline interesting and the connection between the characters jumped off the pages. It was refreshingly sweet that our sexy, sporty hero wasn't a douchewaffle. Yes, he was a wee bit arrogant and a touch sleazy, but funny enough, these were the characteristics the heroine was searching for.

I kind of get a kick out of the storylines when the hero cottons on before the heroine that it's more than a hookup. What follows is a man who can pull anyone getting frustrated when the one he wants puts him in her short-term, he couldn't really commit, category. Loved it!!

It took me longer than I wanted, but it was worth it in the end. I enjoyed the Challenge and I can't for more Harris Brothers.
