It is a short read. This is a story about a woman whose husband is a gambler, sells her to pay off a debt. The captor falls in love with her but now he tries to convince her that he is loveable.
I'm torn with this book. I love my alpha males but if this book is trying to be a dark romance it tip toes around it and if it's not the romance part needs more.
The ending is too abrupt for me. I would have loved more explanation. It felt rushed but if there is another book that may explain it.

Khalid is a sexy control freak. They are perfect together she makes him a better person he gives her what she needs he comes across as sexy and strong. Looking forward to reading other titles by this author.
Who doesn't like a sexy mobster obsessed. He a man of few words and strong passion. She sweet and caring and caught up in a mess. But they find their way to love. It is my first time reading this author but I will buy more.
Short but sweet. I wished there would be a part two to this couples story. Excellent read to wet your thirst.
It was a hard read due to the physical abuse, the threat of rape and how quick everything happened. They also talked about how bad the H was but he didn't seem all that bad to other people. The h was unrealistic she was kidnapped and all she found to complain about was her job.
I absolutely loved this book, but what’s not to love about dark alpha male falling in love. I’ve read other books in the series and loved them as well, but not in order. The characters are intertwined, but they are definitely standalone, which is an added plus for me.
Well first let me say I had to read it twice, it moved fast so I had make sure I didn't miss anything. That husband was a mess selling his wife for his bad dealing, but Khalid was a little off the charts too, just thinking you could own somebody. Though I felt that this story was off the charts I kept reading it!! Hot! At times
So if you can't take the heat bet not go in the kitchen!!
Now on to the next story! Ash!
I love the characters in all of this series. I have kindle unlimited but I still purchased them that's how good these books are!
They are all sexy bad men, but each woman's story is different. Khalid...for your sexy Arabian Fantasy... Ash for your modern day Knight... Tyson... Vlad... Daniel... All make their women feel like the only woman on the planet, no cheating or menage or allowing the heroine to be raped in the middle of the book and over it by the end... Each woman is primarily attracted to her counterpart even if there's a bit of dubious consent... The males are all extremely dark alpha but I found Khalid to be super sexy as a fantasy lover. Can wait for the next one.
