I read the whole series when I was in my teens/ early twenties, and the whole series had me laughing out loud. I have slowly started purchasing these for my kindle. Still funny even at my age, and hoping my own daughters will be able to enjoy it in a few years!

Once again a hilariously good time reading about Georgia's antics and her mental friends ) my parents thought something was wrong with me cause I was laughing so much D!!!
Very amusing! Great to lift your mood
I bought all three books for my cousin for Christmas. I read a little before I gave them to her and just about died laughing. They are great for pre-teens on up to the 30's crowd.
It might be because I'm an anglophile, or I might just have a completely juvenile sense of humour (which I blame entirely on being a college prof) but I ADORE Louise Rennison's books and cannot put any of the ones in this series down. Even when they are making me laugh out loud in completely inappropriate places!

The first book (the thong & snogging titled one) in the series was fairly entertaining. I originally decided to wallow in the first book based upon a sick-day indulgence in the movie. I tend to read series when possible, so of course I waded into this book. However, by this book the characters have become stale. Perhaps it truly is the case that teenage girls do nothing but think/plan/plot about boys to the exclusion of almost every other activity, but that belief doesn't according with my recollections of my experiences at that age. The fact the protagonists in this story rarely (or never) actually accomplish anything meaningful makes this series drag by this point. Whereas the first book had a bit of fun commentary, by this book it has been reduced to repetitive disdain for all that is not the lead protagonists egocentric reassurance.

If this story is in any way indicative of actual, median teenage female behavior, I may have to start taking the geezer's laments regarding the despair for future generations seriously.
